The Great Romano-British Bake-off.
Not just shop-bought biscuits with your coffee on The Hagg. Andrea has been known to serve up home-made goodies and of course Flora is famous as Queen of the flapjack. Today there was a bit of a Romano-British bake-off as both Delyth and Christine kindly brought in delicious home-made cakes. Many thanks to all for your amazing skills and generosity. Oh and we found some things today. Roman glass, a piece of lead which might be smelting waste, several more pieces of pot.
